Webster Co Man Attempts to Sell Meth in Henderson Co
Sturgis, Ky 6/4/21- The Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force (PNTF) conducted a drug trafficking warrant round up in the Henderson, Webster and Union County area with the Clay Police Department, Providence Police Department, Sturgis Police Department and a Sheriff’s Deputy and K-9 Unit from Todd County on May 21, 2021 with numerous warrants and arrests closing out the round up.
Sturgis Police Department Officer arrested Sean Devon Jones, 31 of Sturgis, after observing Jones, driving a black Cadillac, pull into the Huck’s Store parking lot on Main Street.

Jones was arrested and charged on the drug warrant and additionally charged for:
- TRAFFICKING CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST, METH < GRAMS.
According to the report, on May 19th, Jones allegedly came into Henderson County in an attempt to sell Methamphetamine in the parking lot of the Cairo Elementary School. Detectives conducting surveillance on Jones observed him pulling into the school parking lot, where the traffic was heavy, possibly pushing Jones away from the area. Detectives say Jones then moved the location over to the 3500 block of Jane Posey Road across from the school where he met with a confidential source and proceeded to conduct the transaction of meth while detectives monitored the transaction.
Jones was arrested by a Sturgis Police Officer with out incident and transported to the Webster County Detention Center where he was lodged under a $10,000.00 Full Cash Bond.
