Vehicle Rolls After Being Cut Off By Another

Henderson, KY 9/16/21- Just after 8AM Thursday morning, the Henderson Police and Fire Department was called to the 600 block of South Green Street for the report of a traffic accident involving a vehicle that had rolled onto its top.

The accident occurred in front of Benton Glunt Funeral Home when Silbia Alfaro, 34 of Dixon, tells officers that she was driving Northbound on Green Street when a vehicle cut her off, striking the front bumper of her vehicle. Alfaro says that contact made her lose control of her vehicle which caused her to leave the roadway.

According to investigating officers, Alfaro’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole and a tree which caused her vehicle to flip over. The other vehicle involved left the scene of the accident.

No information regarding injuries was released by HPD, but according to the Henderson Fire Department social media page there was no entrapment when they arrived on scene and the injuries appeared to be minor non-life threatening.
