Undercover Drug Sting Leads to Several Arrests
Henderson, KY 02/09/21– Deputies with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office were able to arrest Linda Gibson, 54 of Henderson, also known as “Lu-Lu” on narcotics drug trafficking warrants Tuesday evening just after 5pm. Deputies located her at a residence located in the 6400 block of Old Corydon Road in Henderson County.
Detective Bill Mills with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force (PNTF) says Henderson Deputies have been working with the Task Force on a joint meth trafficking investigation involving Gibson over the past nine months. Detectives with the PNTF have been conducting undercover drug buys from Gibson at her residence in the area of the Seven Oaks Apartment Complex in Henderson.
Detective Mills says with the undercover drug buys, detectives have been able to arrest several others during this investigation.
Linda Lou Gibson received multiple charges including:
1) TRAFFICKING CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST. METH >2 GRAMS {2 Counts}.
2) TRAFFICKING IN MARIJUANA LESS THAN 8 OZ. {2 Counts}.
3) TRAFFICKING CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST METH. < 2 GRAMS {2 Counts}.
4)POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.
5) POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA.
Deputies transported Gibson to the Henderson County Detention Center
where she was lodged without incident under a $2,000.00 Full Cash Bond.
PNTF Officials say additional arrests are forthcoming in this investigation.
