U-Haul used for Trafficking Meth

Henderson, Ky 4/11/21- Officers with the Henderson Police Department made a traffic stop on a U-Haul truck traveling down S. Green Street Sunday and arrested the driver Jeremy D Stone, 44 of Henderson, on a warrant. According to HPD, the warrant was for “Escape” out of Madison County KY.

Detective John Nevels says that on Tuesday officers were able to obtain a search warrant for the U-Haul truck. After executing the warrant, officers discovered 17 grams of Methamphetamine and paraphernalia allegedly used in the trafficking of illegal narcotics.

Stone for formally charged on Wednesday with trafficking in a controlled substance (1st Degree) (Methamphetamine Over 2 Grams). Jeremy Stone was already incarcerated on the escape charge in the Henderson County Detention Center. The investigation is on-going.

Henderson KY, 4/11/21- Henderson Police Officers responded to a call in reference to a theft from a vehicle in the 1400 block of Powell Street. When police arrived on the scene, the victim stated someone stole items from his vehicle some time in the past two days. According to the owner, the estimated value of the items stolen is at $500.

Henderson, KY 4/13/21- Just after noon on Tuesday, the Henderson Police Department responded to the report of a burglary in the 900 block of Larkspur Ct. Officers say the investigation is still open and currently on-going
