Traffic Stop Arrest Leads Deputies to Search Home
Uniontown, KY 9/13/21- On Sunday the Union County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant in Uniontown after a traffic stop led deputies to further their investigation.
According to the deputy’s report, a Uniontown resident named Terry Adams was placed under arrest earlier that afternoon during a traffic stop in Uniontown. During the traffic stop, Adams was charged for Driving Under the Influence and possession.

During the investigation, the deputy furthered the investigation and obtained a search warrant for Adams’ home. With the assistance of the Kentucky State Police and the Sturgis Police K-9 unit, deputies found several items indicating Adams was trafficking methamphetamine.
Adams was lodged at the Webster County Detention Center and charged with the following:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Offense (Methamphetamine) (greater than 2 grams),
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Possession of Marijuana
