Three Vehicle Head-On Collision Sends One to the Hospital on 60 East
Henderson, KY 5/16/21- Just before 1PM Sunday, emergency responders with the Baskett Fire Department and Henderson Rescue Squad were called to assist the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office on U.S. 60 East near Ernest Lane with a head-on accident with injuries involving three vehicles.

During the investigation, deputies discovered that Erica French (42) was operating a U.S. Postal Service mail truck traveling west when she attempted to do a U-turn to go back east. While attempting to get turned around, French made contact with Dexter Bratcher (66) who was also traveling west. The impact caused Bratcher’s vehicle to cross over into the east bound lanes where he made contact head-on with a vehicle being driven by a 17-year-old female.
Bratcher was transported to Deaconess Henderson Hospital with minor injuries. French and the juvenile 17-year-old were checked on scene but refused transport to medical facility.
The roadway was shut down for approximately 1 hour while emergency crews worked the scene and wrecker services cleared the roadway.
