Suspected Drug Trafficker Arrested in Walmart Parking Lot
Henderson, KY 7/19/22- On Monday, the Henderson Police Department and Kentucky State Police DESI Task Force concluded a narcotics trafficking investigation involving a Michael Rittenberry.
On July 14, 2022 detectives say Rittenberry, 46 of Henderson, was located at WalMart in Henderson inside a parked vehicle. HPD Officers arrested him for multiple outstanding arrest warrants out of Henderson County. A search of Rittenberry’s vehicle resulted in the finding of methamphetamine and evidence indicative of trafficking including plastic bags and a scale. Suspected Hydrocodone pills and marijuana was also found inside the vehicle.
According to the report, Rittenberry was already on bond release for a pending ‘Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree-Methamphetamine’ charge out of Henderson County. Mr. Rittenberry has been charged furthermore with:
- Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree >2 grams Methamphetamine (C Felony),
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd Offense Hydrocodone (D Felony),
- Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess,
- Violation of Conditions of Release
