Shooting Investigation Underway on Pond Street in Henderson

Henderson, KY 8/25/21- The Henderson Police Department is currently investigating a shooting in the 800 block of Pond Street.

According to a statement released just after 8PM Wednesday night, the incident is currently under investigation and more information will be distributed at a later date. Just after 7PM Wednesday, Emergency responders were called to a wreck with possible injuries resulting from a possible shooting on Pond Street. Henderson Police responded to clear the scene for Fire and EMS medical responders to treat the patient involved.

Several witnesses report hearing gunshots just before the crash.

The Henderson Fire Department and Deaconess Henderson Ems assisted Henderson Police on the scene.
