Sandy Lee Songfest Returns & Grant Recipients Announced!
Henderson, KY 5/7/21- The board and committee of the 2021 Sandy Lee Watkins Songwriters Festival say they are thrilled to announce the return of the festival in 2021. The group says they will grant five local non-profit agencies with funds raised from the event.
“We are beyond grateful to our community, songwriters, and sponsors for their ongoing support. Despite having to cancel last year due to the pandemic, the support has pushed us forward and we cannot wait to have the songwriters back in Henderson to help us raise money for our 2021 grant recipients!”

According to the announcement, the 2021 Sandy Lee Songwriters Festival grant recipients are:
- Cairo Elementary School
- Christian Community Outreach
- Cliff Hagan Boys and Girls Club of Henderson
- Imagination Library of Henderson
- Healing Reins of Kentucky
Join the festival in July as they welcome back over thirty award-winning songwriters to Downtown Henderson to share the stories behind the hit songs we all hear on the radio.
