Rollover Results in D.U.I. Arrest
Henderson, KY 6/18/21– Last Friday night, Henderson Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched with Zion Fire Department to the 6000 block of Zion Larue Road for a vehicle rollover with possible injuries.
The accident occurred just after 11PM when deputies arrived on scene to find a white Ford Escape on its passenger side in a ditch. Deputies say the vehicle was occupied by three people: Cameron Davis was the driver and Juan Diego Thomas and Becca Vaughn were passengers.
According to Deputies, visible through the windshield was marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. A field sobriety tests was given and Davis was arrested for driving under the influence. Davis admitted smoking marijuana before driving that evening.
Davis was transported to Henderson County Detention Center and was charged with:
- Driving Under the Influence 1st,
- Possession of Marijuana,
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
No injuries were reported in the release from deputies. The Henderson City-County Rescue Squad also assisted on scene.
