Reminder: 2021 Property Tax’s Due Jan 4th
Henderson, KY 1/3/22– Property owners within the City of Henderson have until the end of the business day (5PM) on Tuesday, Jan. 4th, to pay their 2021 property tax bills without becoming delinquent.
Tax bills can be paid in person at the Henderson Municipal Center, 222 First St., in downtown Henderson. Mailed payments postmarked on Jan. 4th will not be delinquent. Payments can also be dropped in the collections box in the parking lot of The Depot Welcome Center at 101 N. Water St. and at the drive-through window at the Municipal Center.
For those seeking an online payment option, the City of Henderson works with Value Payment Systems (VPS), a third-party automated payment service, to offer payment options for customers using the Internet or automated phone service. VPS accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover. VPS will charge a convenience fee for each transaction.
Convenience fees charged for online or automated phone service Utility fees are: Debit card, $1.95; credit card, $2.95; and commercial/international credit card, $4.95.
Convenience fees charged for online or automated phone service Tax/Non-Tax fees are: Debit card, 1 percent; and credit card, 2.5 percent.
