Officers Investigate Woodland 911 Call Considered a Prank
Henderson, KY 3/2/22- Henderson emergency responders were called with Henderson Police Officers Wednesday to the 1400 block of Woodland Drive in reference to a 911 call reporting a shooting.
According to police, just before 8PM, a 911 caller advised dispatchers he had shot and killed his family and was going to harm himself. After crews responded to the area to investigate, Officers later learned the reported apartment was vacant, made entry and cleared the residence.
Officers were not able to locate anyone in the apartment and it is believed the phone call was a prank. If the 911 caller is caught, he may face charges of Disorderly Conduct (2nd Degree).
