Officer Involved Shooting Investigation Underway in Webster County
Providence, KY 2/4/22- Kentucky State Police Post 2 is currently on scene in Providence (Webster County) investigating an Officer involved shooting which reportedly occurred Friday just before 11AM.
According to sources, a Providence Police Officer was involved in gun fire and one suspect was hit. The suspect has been transported by ambulance to a Madisonville medical facility, condition unknown at this time.
This incident occurred on Princeton Street, also known as Ky-109. Providence 911 Dispatch has no comment and no other information is being released at this time. Assisting on the scene is Clay Police Department and the Webster County Sheriff’s Office.
