Multiple Agencies Work Together to Stop Fentanyl Trafficking
Henderson, KY 1/21/2023- On Tuesday, the Henderson Joint Task Force along with the Kentucky State Police made a traffic stop on a vehicle northbound on Interstate 69 in Henderson near the Henderson city limits.

According to officials, the vehicle was being operated by a Bradley Brewer, 50 of Evansville, who was traveling north from Madisonville, KY. Investigators say a Dana Thomas, 40 of Henderson, was a passenger in the vehicle.

During the traffic stop, members of law enforcement were able to locate approximately 1000 Fentanyl pills and a large amount of cash inside of the vehicle. Brewer and Thomas were both arrested and lodged at the Henderson County Detention Center for charges regarding Aggravated Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (greater than or equal to 28 grams Fentanyl).
The Evansville Joint Task Force assisted with the investigation by executing a search warrant on East Michigan Street in Evansville which resulted in the seizure of a large amount of synthetic marijuana, methamphetamine, cocaine, and more fentanyl pills.
Officials say the Madisonville-Hopkinsville Vice/Narcotics Unit also assisted in this investigation.
The Henderson Joint Task Force and the Kentucky State Police say they will continue working to make our community safer by holding accountable those responsible for bringing dangerous drugs, such as Fentanyl, into our community.
