Motorist Assist Leads to Meth Bust

Henderson, KY 8/12/21- Just after 1AM Wednesday morning a Henderson County Sheriff’s Deputy was patrolling in the 700 block of N. Green St. when he came upon a vehicle with no lights stalled in the middle of both northbound lanes.

After speaking with the driver of the vehicle, Eric Blake, 36 of Morganfield, the deputy helped push the vehicle out of the road. While questioning whether Blake needed any more assistance, the deputy noticed a syringe near the middle console next to Blake. Eric Blake was taken into custody and charged for:

  • Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (1st degree) (1st offense) (> or = 2 grams – Methamphetamine)
