UPDATE: Marijuana & Moonshine Operation Under Investigation

DIXON, KY 9/9/21- Just before 9AM on Thursday, the Webster County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies arrested Dale Boudreaux (60) and his wife, Julie (59) after the couple turned themselves in at the Sheriff’s Office.

Dale And Julie were wanted on a firearm warrant and a Marijuana Cultivation/ Alcohol Manufacturing warrant resulting from an August investigation with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force (PNTF) and the Webster County Sheriff’s Office in the Slaughters area.

The seized Marijuana included 21 Marijuana Plants along with Marijuana product which weighed approximately 28.50 pounds all together had a street value of around $70.500.00.

Dale and Julie surrendered to the Webster County Sheriff’s Office and charged for:

  • CULTIVATION OF MARIJUANA > 5 PLANTS
  • TRAFFICKING MARIJUANA > 5 LBS.
  • APPARATUS TO MANUFACTURING ALCOHOL BEVERAGE 1ST.
  • PRESENCE OF ALCOHOL BEVERAGE FOR SALE (MOONSHINE).
  • POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.

Charges Where Enhanced With Hand Gun / Firearms. The couple was lodged in the Webster County Detention Center without incident under a NO Bond.

ORIGINAL STORY….

Slaughters, KY 8/23/21- Detectives with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force (PNTF) and Deputies with the Webster County Sheriff Office (WCSO) obtained and executed a search warrant on a Webster County residence for a suspected Marijuana growing operation in the 400 block of Daisy Lane in Slaughters, Kentucky.

According to the release, Webster Co. Sheriff Deputy Scott Starkey attempted to serve a civil paper at the residence on Dale Boudreaux (60) when he observed several suspected Marijuana plants growing in the back yard in plain sight. Webster Co. Sheriff Donald Jones contacted the PNTF for assistance in the investigation.

Deputy Starkey obtained a search warrant as deputies stood by at the residence belonging to Dale and his wife, Julie Dawn Boudreaux (59). Once deputies were able to arrive with the search warrant, Detectives made forced entry inside the Daisy Drive residence but did not locate anyone inside.

During the search of the residence and property, detectives located 11 Marijuana plants (2 foot to 48 inches) growing outside in the yard and 10 more plants inside the garage in an elaborate set indoor growing operation. Detectives also found approximately 28.50 pounds of processed Marijuana along with digital scales, plastic sealed vacuum machine, packaging material, potting bags and cultivating material and supplies. Surprisingly, detectives also located a small suspected whiskey manufacturing still with tubing along with 11 sealed quart jars containing suspected Moon Shine Whiskey (Alcohol Beverage).

Detectives say they seized one fully loaded .45 Semi-automatic handgun along with 6 other long guns an over 2,000
rounds of assorted ammunition inside the residence.

The Sheriff’s Office received phone calls from family members saying Dale and Julie Boudreaux were in the Dallas, Texas area and were on their way home, but investigators have not had contact with the Boudreaux’s at this time.
