Man Injured During Robbery

Henderson, KY 1/23/23 – On Monday, Officers with the Henderson Police Department were called to the 500 block of Barrett Blvd in reference to the report of a robbery.

When officers arrived at the Beverage Barn they spoke with employees who told police a black male subject had left the store with a bottle of alcohol without paying. The employees reported that they went after the male subject once he left the store to try and catch him.

Employees tell police when they approached the vehicle, the male subject produced a pocket knife and cut a male subject. The male subject who was cut was cleared by Deaconess Henderson EMS on scene for his injuries.

Police say the suspect left the scene in a White Ford Edge, going towards Evansville, IN.
