Man in Stable Condition After Motorcycle Collision in Reed
Henderson, KY 7/7/21- Emergency responders with the Reed, Spottsville, and Baskett Fire Departments along with the Henderson City-County Rescue Squad, Deaconess Henderson EMS, and the Sheriff’s Office responded to a single motorcycle collision on US 60 East near Williams Keene Road on Monday. AirEvac’s medical helicopter also responded once responders arrived on scene.
According to deputies, the driver of the motorcycle, Troy White, of Evansville had multiple injuries. White was transported by AirEvac medical helicopter to Deaconess Midtown in Evansville for treatment. Investigating deputies say it appears that White lost control of his motorcycle attempting to navigate a corner.
As of Tuesday morning, the family posted the following status update on social media saying that White has “six broken ribs, his leg is broken in seven places, a punctured lung, a broken hand and elbow, and a hole and laceration across his chest. He’s awake and aware in stable condition.”
