Man Dragged Down the Street Attempting to Stop Robbery

Henderson, KY 8/8/21- Just before 8PM on Sunday, the Henderson Police Department responded to the 1800 block of North Elm Street, near Atkinson Pool, in reference to the report of a robbery that had just occurred.

According to investigating officers, one victim told police an unknown male subject stole his black 2019 Chevrolet Equinox from the Atkinson skate park after stealing his keys. A witness told police he attempted to stop the fleeing suspect but was dragged down the street as the suspect drove away.
