Man Arrested After Fleeing From Traffic Stop
Henderson, KY 6/17/21- Early Thursday morning, officers with the Henderson Police Department were patrolling near Watson Lane & US Hwy. 60 East and spotted a vehicle which had allegedly fled from a traffic stop of the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office earlier in the morning.
According to the officers they were able to identify it as a stolen vehicle previously reported on 6/15/2021. Officers observed it stop at an apartment complex near Watson Lane and US Hwy. 60 East and were able to take the driver into custody.
The driver, Brandon Greenwell, 23 of Henderson, was placed under arrest for receiving stolen property under $10,000. Other charges were issued by the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office in reference to the traffic stop. Greenwell is being held on a $2,000 and $500 full cash bond and faces the following additional charges:
- Reckless Driving
- Operating on a suspended or revoked license
- Fleeing and Evading Police, 2nd Degree (Motor Vehicle)
