Juvenile Airlifted After UTV Wreck

Corydon, KY 9/14/21- Just after 5PM Tuesday evening, emergency responders were called to Sulphur Spring Road for the report of a Utility Vehicle overturned on the gravel section of the roadway.

The Henderson Sheriff’s Office says a juvenile driver was found pinned underneath the UTV when Corydon Civil Defense first responders first arrived on the scene. Another juvenile was reportedly ejected from the UTV.

Once first responders and the ambulance crew provided the driver medical care on scene, the juvenile was transported by a medical helicopter for his injuries. The passenger was said to have sustained minor injuries.

The Sheriff’s Office and the Corydon Civil Defense Fire Department were also assisted on scene by the Smith Mills Fire Department, Henderson City-County Rescue Squad and Deaconess Henderson EMS.
