Incarcerated Inmate Receives More Charges

HENDERSON, KY 9/4/21- Detectives with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force (PNTF) and Deputies with the Henderson County Sheriffs Office take down another drug dealer in Henderson.

According to detectives, on Wednesday Brandon Owens, 39 of Henderson, was arrested on a warrant for an on-going drug trafficking case investigated by the PNTF in April after receiving information that Owens was selling meth, marijuana and prescription pills from his mother’s Arbor Drive apartment. Detectives with the PNTF and deputies from the Henderson County Sheriff Department conducted a controlled meth buy from Owens at his apartment in the 300 block of Arbor Drive in Henderson County.

Owens sold approximately 3.50 grams of suspected Methamphetamine during the transaction.

Brandon Owens was served on the drug trafficking warrant at the Henderson County Detention Center where he is currently incarcerated on other charges on a No Bond.

This new warrant charged to Owens was for:

  • TRAFFICKING CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST. METH > 2 GRAMS. (Felony)

Owens was already incarcerated from when the Henderson Police Department caught him driving around in a stolen vehicle on August 25th when he was charged for:

  • Receiving Stolen Property $1,000<$10,000 for the vehicle,
  • Receiving stolen Property for the license plate,
  • Theft of Identity Without Consent.

Owens also had numerous warrants for his arrest out of Henderson County and Webster County at the time of that arrest.
