HPD: Weekend Reports, Multiple Thefts

Henderson KY 6/5/21- The Henderson Police responded to the 2400 block of Broomsage Lane on a tip that Colby Werner was at a residence in that area on Saturday and had 6 active warrants. While being placed under arrest, a search of Werner’s pocket resulted in police locating a small bag of a white substance believed to be Methamphetamine. Werner willingly told officers the substance in the bag was Methamphetamine. Werner was arrested for the warrrants along with an added charge of possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine).

Henderson KY 6/5/21- Just before 9PM on Saturday the Henderson Police Department was called to the 400 block of South Adams Street to take a theft report.. The victim told police her vehicle’s catalytic converter had been stolen. An investigation is being conducted on this case.

Henderson, KY 6/5/21- Members of the Henderson Police Department took a theft report on station regarding a stolen license plate. Members spoke to the victim, who advised sometime Friday night, the license plate was stolen off of his vehicle. The license plate is Kentucky plate 823HBK. The plate comes back to a silver 2007 Ford Focus.

Henderson, KY 6/6/21- Officers with the Henderson Police Department were called to Lowes in the 2100 block of US 60 East in reference to a theft report. When officers arrived they made contact with an asset protection employee. The employee advised police that a white male entered the store and then push a cart full of merchandise valued at $886.00 out of the store without paying. The merchandise was recovered but the male subject fled the area and was not located.

Henderson KY 6/6/21- Around 4:30PM Sunday, the Henderson Police Department were called to the 700 block of Breckinridge Drive in reference to a theft report. The victim told police his cell phone was stolen from his residence and is priced at being over $500.
