HPD: Shots Fired into Henderson Home After Bar Fight
Henderson, KY 11/21/21- Early Sunday morning the Henderson Police were called to the 200 block of Letcher Street in reference to a report of shots being fired in the area.
When police arrived they discovered a home and a vehicle had been shot. Police spoke to a man from inside the home who advised he and some friends went to a local bar earlier that night. The man says while attempting to leave the bar, he began to get into a physical altercation with another person at the bar. That is when the man says he left the bar and returned back to the residence in the 200 block of Letcher Street. The man tells police that no more than five minutes after returning back to the house, shots rang out being fired into the residence.
According to police, there were a total of eight people including juveniles inside the residence at the time of the shooting, but no one was struck. Investigating officers say the bullets struck the home and entered the residence. Bullets were found laying on the floor and lodged into wall decorations. On the outside, officers observed that the homeowner’s vehicle was also riddled with bullet holes. Officers on scene located numerous shell casings laying in the road.

The suspect(s) are facing a charge of Wanton Endangerment in the First Degree, according to the report.

Henderson KY 11/20/21- Just before 6PM on Saturday, the Henderson Police Department was called to the 600 block of 6th Street in reference to the report of a Burglary. The victim told police in the past two days prior, someone had broken into her residence and stole over $500.00 worth of items.

Henderson, KY 11/15/21- Officers responded to the 2000 block of US HWY 41 North at Audubon State Park in reference to a theft report. Officers spoke with a construction manager around 6AM who told police they had several tools, and other items stolen from the construction site over the weekend.
