HPD: Robbery, Strangulation, Burglary, and more…
Henderson, KY 7/2/21- The Henderson Police Department was called to the 800 block of 2nd Street Friday for the report of a female being choked.

When officers arrived around 2:30AM, the female victim told police a Thomas Hayden, 62 of Henderson, choked her shortly after an argument where he had been drinking. Officers were able to locate Hayden a short time later and he was arrested for strangulation (1st Degree).
Henderson KY 7/2/21- Just after 3PM on Friday, the Henderson Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Center Street for the report of a burglary that had occurred.

Henderson, KY 7/2/21- Just before 8PM on Friday, Henderson Police responded to the 400 block of 6th Street for the report of a disturbance. Officers arrived on scene to find a Jimmy Hamby, 45 of Henderson. Hamby was arrested and charged for:
- Possession of a Contolled Substance 1st degree 1st offense,
- Public Intoxication,
- Other Henderson County Warrants

Henderson, KY 7/3/21- Officers with the Henderson Police Department responded to Algonquins, located in the 200 block of U.S Highway 41 south, for the report of a robbery on Saturday night just before midnight.
When officers arrived they spoke to the victim who stated that an unknown man approached him while he was inside his vehicle and pointed a handgun at him demanding all the money he had. The victim also says the man then punched him and pistol whipped him. The man got away leaving with the victim’s wallet containing personal items and approximately $470 in cash.
