HPD: Resisting Arrest, Burglary, Assault and more…
Henderson, KY 10/31/21- On Sunday officers of the Henderson Police Department were called to the area of Walmart for the report of a man pushing a cart full of merchandise out of the store without paying.
When officers arrived in the area they were advised the man was a bald headed white male wearing all black. According to the complainant, the man got into a older model van and left the area. Investigating officers report locating the van at the intersection of Barret Blvd and US Highway 60 East. When police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, the vehicle failed to stop.
HPD later received a call reporting an older model van which almost ran head-on into another vehicle driving recklessly in the area of Watson Lane and Browns Drive. Officers responded to the area and located the van unoccupied behind the apartment complex on Browns Drive.

Henderson, KY 10/31/21- Also on Sunday, officers were called to Garden Mile Road at the F5 Car Wash for the report of an open door. When officers arrived they observed damage to the door of the office.
After investigating further, officers observed damage to the office area inside as well. The office had an estimated $5,000 worth of items stolen as well as severe damage to the car wash system.

Henderson, KY 11/02/21- Just before 6:30PM on Tuesday, the Henderson Police were called to Meadow Street in reference to a report of Burglary.
The victim told officers while he was at work, someone broke into their residence and stole two firearms. Police report having no suspect at this time.

Henderson, KY 11/02/21- Just before 9PM Tuesday, Officers from the Henderson Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Watson Lane in reference to the report of a disturbance.
Once on scene, Officers made contact with a Kevin Dolin, 52 of Henderson. According to the report, Dolin took an aggressive stance with Officers, while holding a knife. Officers attempted to subdue Dolin, when he attempted to attack Officers with the knife.

Dolin was restrained, arrested and transported to the Henderson County Dentention Center. Dolin was charged for:
- Menacing,
- Attempted Assault 1st Degree (Police Officer),
- Resisting Arrest,
- Assault 3rd Degree (Police Officer).
