Henderson, Ky 4/26/21– Emergency crews responded to an accident with injuries in the area of Atkinson Street and Madison Street on Monday involving a vehicle and a bicycle.

According to police, the individual on the bicycle was transported to the hospital for minor injuries. The driver of the car did not report of any injury.

Henderson KY 4/26/21- The Henderson Police Department is investigating the theft of a 2002 maroon Jeep Liberty stolen from the 600 block of US 41-A South. If anyone has any information about this incident, please contact the Henderson Police Department at 270-831-1295.

Henderson, KY 4/27/21- Officers with the Henderson Police Department stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of Second Street on Tuesday for only having one headlamp illuminated.

Officers say when they made contact with the driver, Jordan Boston, they were able to see an empty pistol holster on the dash of the vehicle. When asked about the holster, Boston told police he just found it and thought he might be able to sell it.

As officers continued talking to the occupants, they were able to see a pistol laying in the rear floor board of the vehicle. Knowing Boston was a convicted felon, officers seized the pistol and holster and took Boston into custody without incident.

Jordan Boston was arrested and charged for:

  • Possession Of Handgun By Convicted Felon,
  • One Headlight,
  • Operating On Suspended License

Henderson KY 4/28/21- The Henderson Police Department located Jeffery Peppey, 56 of Henderson, this morning in the 1700 block of North Green Street.

According to the report, police say Peppey had numerous outstanding Bench Warrants out of Henderson County. Peppey was placed under arrest and searched. Officers located a small bag of suspected Methamphetamine on Peppey.

Peppey was arrested and charged for the warrants along with possession of controlled substance 1st Degree Methamphetamine as well as other drug charges.
