HPD Reports: Burglary/ Auto Theft/ Hit&Run
Henderson, Ky 2/28/21– At approximately 4 AM Sunday morning the Henderson Police say a light pole was struck on Main Street in front of the Henderson County Judicial Center on the Central Park side of the street.

Responding officers said pieces of the suspect vehicle were located on the ground at the scene. According to the release, the suspect’s vehicle is believed to be a maroon GM vehicle. At this time this case is still under investigation and no arrests have been made.
Henderson KY 2/27/21- Just after 2:30 PM on Saturday the Henderson Police Department was called to the 200 block of Highway 2084 for the report of a burglary involving storage units. The owner of the storage facility said he had surveillance footage of what appears to be a white male subject covered from head to toe breaking into a storage unit.

HPD says that when officers arrived on scene they found that the subject had used a cutting device to cut holes into 4 other neighboring units to gain access. According to the police report, the value of the items stolen and damaged were over $500.00. Other charges include criminal mischief 1st Degree. The Henderson Police Department is still investigating this case.

Henderson, Ky 2/28/21– Around 1 AM Sunday morning officers with the Henderson Police Department received a call for a possible auto theft which had just occurred prior to the call.
Officers responded to the Thornton’s Gas Station on North Green Street where the victim says her son left her Ford Fusion unlocked with the key in the ignition. According to the report, the son told police a male subject (from another vehicle at the gas pump next to his vehicle) got out of his vehicle and into the victim’s vehicle and drove off.
HPD says upon further investigation it was determined the suspect’s vehicle was stolen out of Owensboro, Kentucky. Approximately an hour later officers located the stolen Ford Fusion on Interstate 69 south. The vehicle was found and returned to the owner. The suspect was not located.
Henderson, Ky 3/1/21– Just after 2 AM today Henderson Police Officers located Clint Fulkerson from Owensboro in the vehicle of a traffic stop in the 3000 block of US Hwy 60 East. Fulkerson had an outstanding bench warrant from Warrick County, Indiana for failure to appear and was listed as a fugitive from another state.

According to the bench warrant, the underlying charges were:
- dealing in methamphetamine,
- dealing in synthetic drugs,
- possession of methamphetamine,
- possession of a synthetic drug,
- unlawful possession of syringe,
- obstruction of justice,
- possession of paraphernalia.
Fulkerson was arrested and transported to the Henderson County Detention Center without incident.
