HPD: Police Searching For Suspect After Armed Robbery
Henderson, Ky 5/3/22- Henderson Police Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of South Green Street Tuesday night in reference to the report of an armed robbery in progress.
Just after 8PM, Henderson 911 Dispatch Center received a report from a 911 caller stating that a cashier was being robbed at gun point at the Dollar Tree. Several HPD Officers responded setting up a perimeter around the entire area of the store searching for the suspect while investigators spoke to witnesses.
The cashier told police a white male, roughly 5′ 9″ in height, wearing a red hoodie and a red mask, pointed a gun at her at the register. The man then said “GIVE ME EVERYTHING!” as the cashier opened the register.
The white male suspect left the store in unknown direction. Officers were unable to locate the suspect after setting up the perimeter.
