HPD: Burglary/ Theft/ Domestic Disturbance- Strangulation

Henderson, KY 4/29/21- Henderson Police took a report last Thursday that someone stole a catalytic converter off of a gold 2003 Ford F-350 van owned by the Housing Authority of Henderson. According to the report, the incident happened sometime between 1/15/21 and 4/14/21. Henderson, Ky 5/1/21- On Saturday, the Henderson Police Department was called to the area of Woodland Apartments in reference to a domestic disturbance. Investigating officers were told that one subject placed their hand around the other’s neck while the other subject stated they were slapped in the face by the other person. No visible injuries on either subject. Officers are seeking charges of strangulation (2nd Degree) and assault (4th Degree) (domestic violence). Officers say no visible injuries were noted but the investigation is ongoing at this time.

Henderson, KY 5/3/21- On Monday morning just after 8:30AM, the Henderson Police Department responded to the 1400 block of Woodland Drive to the Woodland Apartments for the report of a missing juvenile. During the investigation, Tyler Stone, 19 of Henderson, was located at apartment 22.

According to police, Stone had a criminal summons and a warrant of arrest. Mr. Stone was charged with possession of controlled substance 1st degree (meth), drug paraphernalia, hindering prosecution or apprehension 2nd degree, and unlawful transaction with a minor 3rd degree.

Stone was arrested and lodged at Henderson County Detention Center. We have requested more information regarding the initial call for the report of a missing juvenile, but have not received any new information at this time.

Henderson, Ky 5/3/21- The Henderson Police were called to the 600 block of 5th Street on Monday to take a report for a stolen license plate showing KY 822WTP. Henderson, Ky 5/3/21- Officers with HPD were called to the 1100 block of O’Byrne Street in reference to the report of a Burglary. Officers made contact with the homeowner, who advised that sometime in the last week, her residence was broken into.
