Henderson’s Independence Bank Fireworks Celebration | City Ordinance

Henderson, Ky 6/29/21- This years fireworks show in Henderson is a little more scaled down than past years but nonetheless, will still be an awesome show. According to the Downtown Henderson Partnership, events will kick off at 5PM on Saturday with the show ending around 9:30PM.

Just a reminder on the use of fireworks within the City of Henderson:
Sec. 16-83. – Restrictions on use within city limits.
Fireworks and consumer fireworks may only be used, ignited, fired, or exploded between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., except, that they may be used, ignited, fired, or exploded between the hours of 10:00 a.m. on December 31 to midnight on January 1, and also between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and midnight on the following dates or holidays: July 3, July 4, and Memorial Day.

No person may use, ignite, fire, or explode any fireworks or consumer fireworks as defined in KRS 227.702(2) and (3) if they are under the age of eighteen (18) or within four hundred (400) feet of an animal shelter as defined by KRS 258.095 or a nursing home or hospital that has been granted a certificate of need from the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services or within two hundred (200) feet of any other structure, motor vehicle (whether operational or nonoperational), or any other person.
