Henderson Firefighters Work to Extinguish House Fire Overnight

Henderson, KY 2/19/22- Early Saturday morning the Henderson Fire Department was called to the report of smoke inside a residence on N Elm Street.

Just after 2AM, firefighters arrived in the 2,200 block of N Elm Street to find the whole area near Robin Road covered with smoke. Henderson 911 Dispatch advised responding units the occupants of the home had all exited the home. Not long after firefighters were on scene they located the fire and began to extinguish.

No injuries were reported as a result of this fire. Deaconess Henderson EMS was on scene standing by as firefighters worked the scene. Henderson Police Department was also assisting on scene.

As of 3:30AM, firefighters, police and EMS were still on scene. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Henderson Municipal Power and Light also responded to secure the disconnect from the home.
