Henderson, KY 2/23/22- The Henderson County Water District has issued a boil water advisory for several of their customers on Wednesday. The advisory is to include customers receiving water on Hwy 41-Alternate between Highway 425 and 5634 Hwy 41-Alt, 5290 Hwy 425 and 5358, 4996 & 5382 Old Madisonville Road.

According to Superintendent Pete Conrad, the Henderson County Water District is currently working to fix a water main break which has caused a water outage and says they are working to fix it as fast as possible. Conrad says when the work is completed, a boil water advisory will be issued for the customers affected on Hwy 41-Alt between Hwy 425 and 5634 Hwy 41-Alt, 5290 Hwy 425 and 5358, 4996 & 5382 Old Madisonville Road.

Residents are advised to boil water for 5 minutes before consuming. Conrad also noted, there is a possibility customers may experience cloudy or discolored water. If your water is discolored, open several cold-water faucets until the water runs clear before using. This should typically take only a few minutes.
