Henderson Bank Robber Arrested in Arkansas

Garland County, AR 8/26/22- Henderson, Kentucky’s bank robbery suspect is now in custody after being accused of robbing another bank in southern Illinois.

According to the Murphysboro Police Department in Illinois, the suspect was identified as 58-year-old John Earl Hall of Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Hall was said to be taken into custody around 1:30PM in Garland County, Arkansas today. 

The report says the Regions Bank on Walnut Street in Murphysboro, Illinois was robbed around 10:30AM on Thursday, August 25th. The suspect was able to get away with approximately $3,500 in cash.

After releasing the photo of the suspect to the public, police say they learned the same man allegedly robbed a bank in Henderson, Kentucky on Aug. 23rd.

The investigation is ongoing.
