GRITS bus involved in accident that sends 4 to the hospital
Henderson, KY 6/21/21- Emergency responders were called to the intersection of 5th and N. Main Street just before noon Monday in reference to an accident with multiple injuries. The Henderson Police and Fire Departments arrived on scene and found a G.R.I.T.S. bus which had hit a passenger car.
HPD Officers say the G.R.I.T.S. bus was empty and was driven by Loren Cox, 72 of Henderson. The bus struck a passenger car driven by Linda Vanbussum, 58 of Henderson. Vanbussum had three other passengers and all four individuals in the passenger car were transported by Deaconess Henderson EMS to Deaconess Hospital for their injuries.
