Flood Waters Are Rising

The following is the Kentucky Highway “Water Over Road” Report for District #2 and we will keep this updated daily.

MADISONVILLE, Ky.– We have the following “Water Over Road” Report for Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 2 counties: 

Daviess County

  • KY 298 is CLOSED at the 2 – 3mm with high water ( this section is between U.S. 231 and U.S 431)
    Hancock County

Hancock County

  • KY 661 is CLOSED at the Daviess/Hancock County line
  • KY 334 is CLOSED with high water between 14 -16mm 

Henderson County

  • KY 3522  is CLOSED with high water  from the 0 – 1mm
  • KY 136 is CLOSED with highwater between 0 – 6mm

  • KY 667 is CLOSED with high water between 5.7 – 11.2mm

Webster County

  • KY 270 is closed with high water from 7.3 – 8.3mm

Highway 811 in 2018 when levels reached 50.12 ft at Newburgh Lock & Dam

Some county roads in Henderson County already have water on them including Kimsey Lane between Larue Road and Redbanks Nursing home, Airline Road, Highway 268, small areas of Highland and Chase Road in Reed.
