Fleeing and Evading Police For Months
Henderson, Ky 2/11/21– Fleeing and evading police officers never results in a happy ending, even if its months later when it catches up with you. Henderson Police have been looking for Mason Blair, 26 of Providence, since August of 2020.

Back in August, officers attempted to stop a vehicle Blair was operating in the 400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard due to an expired registration tag. That is when Blair sped away from officers at a busy intersection with pedestrians and other traffic in the area.
According to the August report, the vehicle then traveled into the 100 block of Clay Street where Blair and another man allegedly jumped out and ran. Officers were able to locate and arrest the other man in the 400 block of South Main Street.
According to HPD, officers were able to locate Blair in Newman Park near the back (close to the soccer fields) just before 4am Thursday morning. Blair had multiple bench warrants for failure to appear as well as a felony warrant for no registration plates, operating on suspended or revoked license, fleeing/ evading police 1st degree (motor vehicle), wanton endangerment 1st degree, fleeing/ evading police 2nd degree (on foot), drug paraphernalia buy/ possess, reckless driving, and abandonment of vehicle on public roadway.
