Fence Cut, Theft at HMP&L Substation

Henderson, KY 5/12/21- Wednesday morning just before 11AM, the Henderson Police Department received a report of a theft that had occurred at a power company substation.

HPD responded to the intersection of S. Green Street and Ohio Drive to find that someone had cut the perimeter fence on the power station to gain access. The substation is known as Henderson Municipal Power and Light’s Substation No. 7.

According to police, the perpetrator(s) cut the fence and allegedly stole power tools out of a Five Star Electric truck. Investigating officers say the theft occurred between 6PM on 5/11/21 and 10:40AM on 5/12/21.
