Female Attempts to Flee Troopers

Henderson, KY 12/12/21- Troopers with the Kentucky State Police attempted to make a traffic stop on Saturday night but the driver refused to stop the vehicle. After a short pursuit beginning just before 10PM on Old Madisonville Road near Highway 1299, which ended on Highway 425 near Highway 41-Alternate, the driver finally decided to pull over. The traffic stop resulted in an arrest containing several warrant drug charges.

According to the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force (PNTF), Jessica Sue Hardrick, 33 of Henderson, was arrested by Kentucky State Police on the traffic stop near the intersection of Highway 425 & Highway 41-Alternate in Henderson County. PNTF Detectives report Hardrick was not only charged for multiple driving charges during the traffic stop but also for possession of Methamphetamine and other narcotics. Troopers say during the traffic stop, Hardrick was showing obvious signs of being under the influence of an unknown substance.

During the investigation, the trooper discovered Hardrick had several active warrants through the PNTF and the Henderson County Sheriffs Office. Hardrick was already under investigation by the PNTF & HCSO for meth trafficking offenses where she reportedly sold quantities of Methamphetamine to a confidential source on Old Corydon Road as well as in the Robards area.

Jessica Hardrick was arrested on Failure to Appear warrants for failing to show for her pre-trial conferences.

  • POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 3RD, DRUG UNSPECIFIED.

Jessica Hardrick was additionally charged from the traffic stop for:

  • CARELESS DRIVING
  • IMPROPER DISPLAY OF REGISTRATION PLATES
  • NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT
  • NO REGISTRATION PLATES
  • FAILURE OF NON-OWNER OPERATOR TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INS/SEC. 2ND OFFENSE
  • FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE 2ND. (MOTOR VEHICLE)
  • OPERATING VEHICLE U/ INFLUENCE OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE. 3RD. (AGGRAVATED CIRCUMSTANCES)
  • OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE
  • FAILURE TO REGISTER TRANSFER OF MOTOR VEHICLE
  • POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1″. HYDROCODONE

Jessica Hardrick was arrested and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center under a No Bond.
