Felony Arrest
Wednesday afternoon members of the Henderson Police Department and U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force located Anthony Sapp, 38 of Evansville, Indiana, in the 2000 Block of Clay Street.
According to the press release on Thursday evening, Sapp had an outstanding felony warrant out of Vanderburgh County in Indiana. During the arrest, law enforcement say they located a loaded handgun on Sapp
as well as approximately 13 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
After further investigation into Sapp and the handgun, officers discovered the gun was listed as stolen out of Evansville and Sapp was already a convicted felon.
Anthony Sapp was taken to the Henderson County Detention Center.
