Fatal Collision Shuts Down Audubon Parkway
Henderson, KY 7825/21- Emergency responders were called to the Audubon Parkway just before 4PM Sunday for a head-on collision with multiple injuries and the report of one person that appeared to have been ejected from one of the vehicles.
When responders arrived on scene they discovered 5 vehicles had been involved in the accident. An Air Evac medical helicopter was also called to the scene to transport one patient while three other patients were transported by ambulance, conditions unknown. One person was pronounced deceased on scene. The Henderson County Coroner and Deputy Coroners are on scene.

Kentucky State Police have completely shut down the Audubon Parkway near the 12 mile marker. Detours are set up at the Hebbardsville/ Niagara exit as well as the Sorgho exits in Daviess County. The closure duration is unknown at this time as Troopers and Investigators reconstruct the scene to investigate how the accident happened.
KSP is commanding the scene with assistance from the Hebbardsville Fire Department, Zion Fire Department, Niagara Fire Department, Henderson City-County Rescue Squad, Henderson EMA, Deaconess Henderson EMS, Tri-State Towing, Willett’s Towing, Henderson Sheriff’s Office, Air Evac, and the Henderson County Coroners Office.
The Henderson County Coroner says the person killed is a male and an autopsy will not be completed. Officials say they will do a toxicology test on the victim instead.
