Evansville Man Arrested in Henderson After Stabbing
Henderson, KY 2/20/22- An 18-year-old Evansville man was arrested in Henderson on Sunday after reportedly stabbing someone at an apartment complex.
According to the Henderson Police Department, Officers were called to Deaconess Henderson Hospital in reference to a male subject being treated for stab wounds. Officers were told a Jeffery Whitlock, 18 of Evansville, had been at Chapelwood Apartments on S. Main Street in Henderson, a complex in which he has already been ordered by a judge to stay away from, when Whitlock refused to leave the apartment and was confronted by the victim. When the victim confronted Whitlock, Whitlock stabbed the victim multiple times.
Whitlock was located in the 1100 block of 1st Street and arrested. Whitlock was transported and lodged at the Henderson County Detention Center where he was booked and charged for:
- Burglary (1st Degree)
- Violation of Conditions of Release
The press release did not state whether more charges will be filed against Whitlock.

Henderson, KY 2/17/22- Just after 2PM on Thursday, officers with the Henderson Police Department responded to a reported burglary at the residence in the 600 block of 5th Street. According to the report, an outbuilding on the property was burglarized and several items were taken.
