Emergency Responders Respond to Several Wrecks in Henderson
Henderson, KY 11/14/21- On Sunday Officers were called to the area of Woodspoint Drive and Green River Road for a hit-and-run accident just after 9PM.
Police say a juvenile driver reported that an unknown older model truck forced her off the roadway causing damage to her vehicle that she was operating. Henderson, KY 11/14/21- Henderson County emergency responders were called with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office to a two vehicle collision on Old US Hwy 60 at Ridgewood Road.
According to investigating deputies, just before noon a blue minivan driven by Angela Stone, 48 of Henderson, and a black BMW driven by Jayden Deibler, 19 of Spottsville, collided at the intersection. Deputies say Stone was heading west on Old US Hwy 60 and Deibler was attempting to cross Ridgewood Road when he pulled into the path of the
minivan.
Stone and the occupants of her vehicle were transported to Deaconess Henderson for minor injuries. Deibler refused treatment at the scene. The Spottsville Community Fire Department, Henderson City-County Rescue Squad and Deaconess Henderson EMS assisted deputies on the scene.
Henderson, KY 11/15/21- Just before 9AM on Monday, emergency responders were called with the Henderson Police Department responded to the 300 block of US Hwy 41 South in reference to an accident with reported injuries.
According to officers, the two vehicles involved were driven by Robert Bean, 79 of Henderson, and Maidra Horton, 29 of Henderson. Deaconess Henderson EMS and Henderson Fire Department responded to the scene to assist with injuries. No other information was given to this accident. Unknown if anyone was transported.
Henderson, KY 11/16/2021- On Tuesday, emergency responders were called to the intersection of US HWY 60 East and Manor Drive just after 1PM for the report of a two vehicle accident with reported injuries.
According to police, Donald Gish, 82 of Henderson, was attempting to cross US Highway 60 E from the access road next to Sonic towards Manor Drive when he did not see Julie McKibben, 68 of Henderson, traveling East on US Highway 60 East. Gish reportedly pulled out in front of McKibben and McKibben could not stop. McKibben collided with the drivers side of Gish’s vehicle pushing it over to the curb near Manor Drive.
Gish and his passenger were transported to Deaconess ER Henderson for non- life threatening injuries. McKibben
was treated on scene by EMS for minor injuries and released.
