Drug Trafficking Charges After K9 Used During a Traffic Stop | Stolen Ambulance
Henderson, KY 7/27/22- The Henderson Police Department (HPD) and Kentucky State Police DESI Task Force arrested two people on Wednesday during a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Second Street in Henderson.
According to the report, the HPD K9 was used during the traffic stop and alerted to the odor of controlled substances coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in the finding of a digital scale and other drug paraphernalia.

Officers say Candace Meredith, 43 of Morgantown, was found to possess two plastic bags containing methamphetamine. Further investigation revealed Meredith along with Jared Jones (44) had transported the methamphetamine from Butler County, KY to Henderson, KY.

Jones was arrested for a Parole Violation Warrant out of KY. Jones was said to have been released on parole in May 2020 for previous convictions of Manufacturing Methamphetamine (1st Offense) among other controlled substance charges. Meredith was arrested for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (1st Degree) (1st Offense) >2 grams Methamphetamine (Class C Felony). Henderson, KY 7/26/22- The Henderson Police Department responded to Deaconess Hospital, in reference to a report of a stolen ambulance. Upon arrival, Officers determined the suspect was Erin Worman, 26 of Evansville.

The ambulance was tracked and located by the Henderson Police Department. Henderson was assisted by the Hopkins County Sheriffs Department and The Kentucky State Police. Worman was apprehended without further incident.
