Drug Charges Added During Arrest for Warrant
Henderson KY 4/1/22- Last Friday the Henderson Police Department were called to the intersection of Vine Street and South Ingram Street for the report of suspicious activity in the area.
According to police, a witness Henderson 911 stating he allegedly just observed a drug deal occur at that location and the two suspects were still there. Police were able to arrive on the scene and locate a Bruce McGuire, 66 of Henderson. Henderson 911 advised officers on scene McGuire had a warrant.
McGuire was arrested on the warrant but when officers went to perform the search to arrest, McGuire was holding a small glass drug pipe which he was attempting to conceal in his front hoodie pocket. McGuire told police he just smoked cocaine from the pipe 2 or 3 hours prior.
The pipe was collected and McGuire was transported to the Henderson County Detention Center where he was booked and charged with the charges included in the warrant as well as new charges for possession of drug paraphernalia (1st Degree)(1st Offense, Cocaine).
