Domestic Call Ends With Arrest
Henderson, KY 3/3/21– The Henderson Police Department were called to the 1700 block of North Green Street late Wednesday night for a possible domestic disturbance.
When officers arrived on scene they located a male and female in the area. Brandie Houston, 36 of Henderson and a Blake Henson both told police they were not having a domestic dispute but were trying to get Houston’s dog
back to the apartment.
According to the report, Houston was unable to provide any identification to officers. Officers say while they were speaking with Houston, she advised her hands were getting cold and then placed her hands into her sweatshirt. Houston then asked officers if she could give Henson her cellphone. As Houston began walking towards Henson to give him the phone she turned her body away from officers where they could not see what she was doing prompting officers to walk towards Houston. Police say that is when a small framed pistol fell onto the ground.
Houston was placed under arrest and charged for:
– Possession of Handgun by Convicted Felon.
– Possession of drug paraphernalia;
– Possession of synthetics

Houston was searched before being placed into the back of a patrol vehicle finding her in possession of synthetic drugs and a pipe used to smoke marijuana.
Houston was transported to the Henderson County Detention Center and held on a $750 bond.
