Diversion on US 60 East in Spottsville to Begin Tuesday, August 31st

Spottsville, Ky. 8/31/21– According to Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC), traffic on U.S. 60 East near the Spottsville Bridge in Henderson County, will be rerouted along a short temporary diversion that runs adjacent to U.S. Highway 60 East, beginning Tuesday, Aug. 31st.

The diversion will contain two lanes to facilitate two-way traffic. This traffic change will remain in place for several months in order to construct the “tie-in” of the new U.S. Highway 60 East alignment with the existing alignment.

KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area. Follow KYTCDistrict2 on their Twitter page www.twitter.com/kytcdistrict2 and their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/kytcdistrict2
