Deputy Chief David Crafton to be Appointed Henderson Co. Sheriff
Henderson, Ky 6/22/21- Henderson County Sheriff Ed Brady made it official in Henderson Fiscal Court this morning by reading aloud his retirement statement to the court. Sheriff Brady’s final day as Sheriff will be June 30th.
“It as been an honor and pleasure to serve this commonwealth and community as a trooper, a chief, and a sheriff for 52 years.”

After Sheriff Brady read his speech to the court, he received and standing ovation by the Judge, Magistrates, and audience in court. Brady says his wife is planning a celebration for friends and family in July.

Fiscal Court Judge Executive Brad Schneider says Sheriff Brady recommended the appointment of Deputy Chief David Crafton to complete the remainder of his elected term. Judge Schneider today announced his recommendation as the same to the court. A motion made by Magistrate McCollom quickly moved to accept the appointment. Crafton will be sworn in on July 2nd @ 3PM in the Henderson Fiscal Courtroom.
