DashCam Footage: Multiple Vehicle Collision Tuesday

Henderson, Ky 6/1/21- Just before 4PM Tuesday, Baskett Fire Department, Deaconess Henderson EMS, and the Henderson Rescue Squad were called to a multiple vehicle accident with injuries on US 41 North in front of the True Vine Inn. When responders arrived on scene they found debris across all southbound lanes. Crews had to close all southbound lanes for cleanup. Henderson Sheriffs Office worked the scene but provided no press release regarding the incident.

A follower of the HendersonWatch social media provided us with dashcam footage of the accident as it occurred. You can see a vehicle pulling a camper attempt to cross the southbound lanes from Stratman Road. Before the vehicle clears the southbound lanes, another vehicle slams into the camper, completely spinning around to where the vehicle is pointing northbound.

It is unknown how many injuries were involved.

Several reports from Evansville saying the closure caused traffic to be backed up to the Green River Road exits on I-69 in Indiana as well as the Veterans Memorial Parkway into downtown Evansville.
