City Requiring Face Masks Inside All City Buildings and Vehicles Once Again
HENDERSON, KY 8/2/21– Because of the recent surge in COVID-19 cases in Henderson County, throughout Kentucky and the Tri-state area, the City of Henderson is now again requiring all employees, customers and visitors to wear face masks when inside City buildings, facilities and vehicles.
The update was made effective on Monday, Aug. 2, after the administrative staff carefully reviewed the latest Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations and analyzing the health and safety data for our area.
The exception to the requirement for wearing a face mask: Not required when alone in a room or office.
The City also encourages everyone to become vaccinated against COVID-19 to assist in stopping the outbreak of new cases. For the latest information on the pandemic and vaccines, visit kycovid19.ky.gov.
